    Online insomnia care

Difficulty falling asleep, waking through the night, or starting the day exhausted deserves more than another generic sleep tip. Let’s understand what is getting in the way of rest.

    Look beyond bedtime.

We review your sleep pattern, daytime functioning, routines, medications, and health history. Mood, anxiety, substances, and other sleep conditions may contribute to difficulty sleeping.

A plan built around your pattern.

Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) is usually recommended first for long-term insomnia. We can discuss this approach, referral options, and whether medication has a role in your care. We do not assume every sleep concern needs a prescription.

Insomnia and shift work are not the same.

If your difficulty sleeping is closely tied to overnight or rotating work hours, explore shift-work sleep care. Loud snoring, breathing pauses, or severe daytime sleepiness may also call for a sleep-specialist evaluation.

    Private care, close at hand.

    A few questions, answered

Can I be seen if I already take a sleep medication?

Yes. Bring the medication name, dose, and your experience with it so we can review your current care.

Do you provide a sleep study during telehealth?

No. If testing is needed, we can discuss the appropriate next step with a sleep specialist.

Is this different from shift-work sleep care?

Yes. Insomnia concerns difficulty sleeping, while shift-work-related problems involve the timing of work and sleep. They can overlap and deserve an individualized evaluation.

What information helps at my visit?

Bring an idea of your usual sleep and wake times, how often you wake, your work schedule, and any medications or supplements you use.

    A clearer next step.

Start with the nights you are having—and the days you want back.
