Substance Use Treatment
Substance use treatment is tailored to your current needs, treatment goals, recovery experience, and level of support.
Care may address opioid, alcohol, stimulant, cannabis, nicotine, or other substance-related concerns. Treatment may focus on reducing use, maintaining recovery, managing cravings, preventing relapse, or beginning medication treatment when appropriate.
Treatment may include:
Comprehensive Assessment
Review of substance use, mental health symptoms, treatment history, and goals.
Medication Treatment
Medication for opioid or alcohol use disorders may be considered when appropriate.
Craving Management
Strategies and medication support to reduce cravings and relapse risk.
Recovery Planning
Development of practical goals, supports, and relapse-prevention strategies.
Co-Occurring Conditions
Treatment of psychiatric symptoms that may affect substance use and recovery.
Care Coordination
Coordination with counseling, recovery programs, or higher levels of care.
Medication and Monitoring
Controlled medications used in substance use treatment, including buprenorphine, may be prescribed when clinically appropriate and permitted by applicable laws, telehealth requirements, and prescribing standards.
Prescribing is not guaranteed. Treatment may require prior records, prescription-monitoring review, toxicology screening, medication agreements, more frequent follow-up, or coordination with an in-person treatment program.
Treatment goals are developed collaboratively and may include abstinence, reduced use, improved safety, sustained recovery, or improved daily functioning.
